Brooke Atkins
Brooke has over 20 years’ experience in the community and recreation industry working in a variety of organisational settings including Local Government, NGO’s and Not-for-Profit at an Executive level and has featured as a keynote speaker at a number of major sport and recreation conferences.
She was the Leader of over 1600 employees as an Executive Leader Operations for a large Not-for-Profit. Brooke was responsible for over 100 community and recreation assets in NSW and ACT and an annual operating budget of over $50+ million dollars and asset base totalling $450+ million dollars..
Brooke is a growth specialist in aquatics, sport and recreation, supporting the asset development and participation of many urban and regional communities. Brooke is passionate about improving the health outcomes of regional communities, particularly mental health outcomes and enabling greater access to facilities.
